Stainless steel pleated filter element is also called melt filter, which mainly adopts stainless steel woven mesh and fiber sintered felt materials. The woven mesh is made of stainless steel wires. The pleated or folded filter has the features of smooth hole, easy to be cleaned, high-temperature resistance, anti-corrosion, solid structure, long cycle life, etc. Stainless steel sintered felt is a kind of multi-hole deep filtering materials by sintering stainless steel fiber warp at high temperature, with good porosity, permeability, strong dirty-holding capability and reusable.

Features:

Cleaning Method:

1. Backwash is generally selected on the production line: first, close the switch of the original solution and filter solution pipeline, rinse with bacterium-free water, input from the original outlet, and discharge from the discharge hole at the inlet or the bottom of the filter. Backwash should be under pressure but not too large, usually around 5 kg.

2. Remove the stainless steel folding filter element and put it in the cleaning liquid for cleaning, then soak it in the cleaning repeatedly.

Cleaning Fluid Is Generally Available:

A. sodium hydroxide, 0.1NNaOH

B.1-2% citric acid flux or 0.1n oxalic acid solvent, 0.1n hydrochloric acid solvent.

C. It is best to control the temperature at 30-40 ℃ when cleaning other solvents such as enzyme solvents.

Precautions during cleaning: those with high protein content of raw liquor, such as draft beer and nutrient solution, must be sterilized at high temperature after cleaning the filter element to prevent high temperature condensation of protein from blocking the membrane hole.

Installation Method:

1. When installing the inserted filter element, first wet the o-ring in the clean gray filtrate to reduce the friction during insertion.It is also required to be inserted to the end to ensure that both o-rings have sealing effect.

2. When installing the clamp-in filter element, it is necessary to rotate and position clockwise.

3. If the filter has a pressing plate, press the pressing plate on the warped plate, and press the spring on the pressing plate slightly. If the spring is too tight, the filter element without elongation will produce distortion and affect the filtering accuracy.

4. When filtering the liquid, the exhaust switch above the shell should be opened first to empty the gas in the filter barrel and let the liquid fill the filter barrel, otherwise the flow will be affected.

5. The pressure drop of the fluid filter will be caused by the resistance. In order to overcome the resistance, there must be enough working pressure
